All staff are fully trained to answer your enquiries. Naturally when dealing with a custom made product such as plantation shutters or wood blinds, there are nuances involved and specific questions that a specific individual within the company may now be able to answer – but we promise that we will find someone who can help.
Our ‘first to know, best to deal with’ philosophy will see your enquiry handled by a specific individual who will then take ownership of your enquiry or order and see it through to the end. Our team handles a large number of complex shutter or blind orders and we aim to ensure that everything you purchase meets and exceeds your expectations from your first point of contact, through to you laying down your screwdriver, after a successful, simple installation.

Sally Customer Care Team – Blinds Liaison
Sally joined the team in 2007 and lives in Denton on the south coast. Since joining the company Sally has become our resident wood blinds guru and takes care among her many other roles, of the liaison between our wood blinds customers and manufacturing.

Mark Director
Mark started the California Company back in 2001 with fellow Director Murray Clark. Being a dynamic, hands on business, Mark is actively involved in all aspects of customer care and business expansion.

Chrissie Customer Care & Design
Chrissie is one of the longest serving members of The California Company Team. While responsible for training new members of the team about all aspects of the world of plantation shutters and wood blinds, Chrissie loves working closely with customers to advise on the best product design to suit their homes.

Jean Customer Care Team – Shutter Liaison
Jean joined the company in 2003 and has been a central part of the growth and success of California Co.’s success. Jean’s primary area of responsibility is ensuring all aspects of the shutter side of the business operate seamlessly. From your shutter order entering our system to day of dispatch, Jean will ensure your order is handled seamlessly!

Sam Operations Manager
With a large volume of shutter enquiries to be handled, there are a lot of functions within the business which must be controlled. Sam joined the company in 2007 from John Lewis Partnership and oversees all aspects of this growing business

Murray Director
Along with Mark, Murray co-founded The California Company in 2001 to offer an online shopping solution to purchase quality wood blinds and plantation shutters. Murray is heavily involved in new business development including the expansion of the sale of shutters and blinds to new trade customers.
