Just to confirm I received my wooden blinds. They were very easy to put up and look great - far better than I expected and much better than the ones I bought last time from Hillarys blinds! Will be back to buy more soon.

I got a price for my wooden blinds from John Lewis and went online to see if I could find anything cheaper. I ordered 5 Malibu blinds in white and cannot tell you how impressed I am with the quality of these blinds! They are definitely better than the quality I saw in John Lewis and were so easy to install. I’m so glad I found your site.

Thanks for the e-mail regarding your products. The shutters that we purchased from you were everthing you said they were. The shutters we ordered came flat packed and were very easy to assemble, fitting was easy to. I would also like to complement you on your web site, which was very easy to view and showed all the different combinations to fit into every situation.

The blinds arrived as promised just 8 days after I ordered. I am glad I went for the walnut stained wooden blinds as they really work well in my white lounge. Will order more and recommend you.

I wanted to write to say sincere thanks for my lovely blinds. The white 50mm wooden ones were the right ones to go for. Easy to install and look super. Thank you very much again.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that I have fitted the shutters that you helped me order and they look great.

Everything arrived so well packed that it was all in perfect condition. I couldn't believe how easy they actually were to fit either. It only took me a few hours and it wasn't a small area being covered.

You really do seem to have sourced a great quality product, once the frames were put together they shutters fitted in perfectly.

Thanks also for guiding me through the order process over the phone, the discussions about exactly where they would be attached to the walls and making the door panels slightly shorter to allow for a mat have really made the finished product look perfect.

Blinds ordered in Edinburgh last week, spoke to you Brighton to confirm order for wood blinds, made in California, arrived to me 5 DAYS! ? later and installed the wooden blidns same day! And less money the Hillarys Web Blinds! How do you do it? Fantastic!

Just to say that our latest batch of shutters have now been installed. They look fantastic and it is no longer keeping up with the Jones's but keeping up with the Reynoldsssssss!

They look lovely and are perfect for our nursery as we can adjust the light just right for our new baby.

Now thinking about installing them in other rooms but will have to do a bit of saving first. Babies have a draining effect on savings!

The replacement shutters arrived at our home in Cornwall yesterday morning - safe, sound, and ready to be installed. David had no problem installing the shutters and they just look so good I can't tell you! We were a little worried about how the shutter installation would go but it was no problem at all. Really really simple in fact!

Thanks for dealing so efficiently with the previous damaged order. Delivering out to the depths of Cornwall these things happen.  I noticed that this time the packaging included sheets of wood on either side. Additional weight, I know, but probably a very good idea and superb packing for the shutters overall.

“Although I am young (ish-38), I am not that great at buying things over the web – well except books and CDs. However on buying a new place, as well as starting a new company at the same time (not recommended), I found myself with very little time and large amounts of redecoration.

With clear ideas about what I wanted I set about researching on the web – when it came to my shutters I came across The California Company and other than liking the name (for some reason?!) what I found most useful was the ease of use of the website and excellent measuring guides.

Next came the fact that when I requested samples they arrived pretty much next day – something I cannot say for the competition. Which made my purchasing decision easy. I also have to say that they offered a massive saving compared to a local retailer, who will remain nameless.

Further to that and far more importantly, I was ecstatic (strong, but good word) when I received the product, which look amazing – I purchased blinds and half plantations – all match, were simple to install and they even put up with a few of my rather more facile questions when posed both by e-mail and phone. 10 out of 10 for everything!"
