The blinds arrived as promised just 8 days after I ordered. I am glad I went for the walnut stained wooden blinds as they really work well in my white lounge. Will order more and recommend you.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that I have fitted the shutters that you helped me order and they look great.

Everything arrived so well packed that it was all in perfect condition. I couldn't believe how easy they actually were to fit either. It only took me a few hours and it wasn't a small area being covered.

You really do seem to have sourced a great quality product, once the frames were put together they shutters fitted in perfectly.

Thanks also for guiding me through the order process over the phone, the discussions about exactly where they would be attached to the walls and making the door panels slightly shorter to allow for a mat have really made the finished product look perfect.

The replacement shutters arrived at our home in Cornwall yesterday morning - safe, sound, and ready to be installed. David had no problem installing the shutters and they just look so good I can't tell you! We were a little worried about how the shutter installation would go but it was no problem at all. Really really simple in fact!

Thanks for dealing so efficiently with the previous damaged order. Delivering out to the depths of Cornwall these things happen.  I noticed that this time the packaging included sheets of wood on either side. Additional weight, I know, but probably a very good idea and superb packing for the shutters overall.

“Although I am young (ish-38), I am not that great at buying things over the web – well except books and CDs. However on buying a new place, as well as starting a new company at the same time (not recommended), I found myself with very little time and large amounts of redecoration.

Just to say thank you so much for the temporary blinds I ordered. I ordered them on your website (www.thecaliforniacompany.co.uk) at 2pm and they arrived at 11am the next day! Pretty fantastic! They should not be called temporary blinds as they are just like regular blinds but much cheaper!

I searched high and low for affordable temporary blinds after seeing paper ones on the Dragon's Den, but I was disappointed that the sizing was never quite big enough for my windows. Then I came across your blinds ... Although the images on your site weren't great I decided to take a punt and ordered 3 to cover the windows in my lounge.

Anyway, they arrived today, 20 minutes to trim and install 3 blinds and they look great, you'd never even know they were temporary they look so good. I can't tell you how pleased I am to have my privacy back, in style and all for less than £30!

I wish you had a way to submit images because I feel the ones in my flat look 100 times better than those pictured on your site, your images just don't do them justice!

I have to comment on the Monterey bathroom blind that I purchased from you over a year ago. I made the purchase as a result of alot of research across online forums having had a long term problem with a wet bathroom blind next to my shower head in the bath.

Having a window located next to a shower seems to be a common problem and difficult to solve.

No blind had coped with the situation until this one from The California Company! I have waited this long to contact you to ensure that my feedback is accurate - but can now say without doubt that this blind is EXCELLENT!

It certainly fulfills the promise that it will withstand direct spray from a shower head and looks as good now as the day it was delivered! (Only the small wooden toggle nearest the shower head is showing any signs at all of losing its finish.)
