We are fully committed to helping our customers understand the potential hazards that can be posed by the cords on venetian blinds and are a BBSA approved supplier supporting their Make it safe Campaign. As such we encourage our customers to consider the safety options that can be added to a blind and actively think about how to keep children safe around them.

Blinds cords should not be allowed to hang free around children so all of our wood blinds are supplied with a child safety cleat. Optional tie-down clips are available to use instead if you wish.

The cleat should be fitted at a height out of reach of children and the control cords wrapped around it. This is especially important if a blind is fitted to a window with a cot or bed beneath it.

Ensure furniture is positioned at a safe distance so that children cannot climb onto the blinds. If you have any concerns or questions regarding child safety please e-mail or call for advice.
