Cafe Style 89mm Shutters

This photo shows cafe style plantation shutters with 89mm slats on a 30's style property in Kingston just outside of London.

This shutter customer wanted to maximise the amount of light through the top section of the window and did not want full height plantation shutters. After we explained that Cafe style shutters can go higher than the more usual half height our customer decided to have her Cafe style plantation shutters come up to 2/3 of the window height. In addition she chose white for her plantation shutters which helps to pull light into the room. The light colour of the plantation shutters, the wide panels and the large 89mm slats all combine to ensure the room has virtually no light loss, but complete privacy from nosy passers by! Even with the shutter slats virtually closed you can see these plantation shutters allow the room to retain a light and airy atmosphere.
