Plantation Shutters in Lounge Window
These stunning plantation shutters have a regular pushrod and a narrow mid rail to cover the natural break on the window. They make a fabulous addition to this beautiful country home in Buckinghamshire, letting brightness and light into the room.
Plantation shutters negate the need for dust collecting curtains and are so much easier to open or close, especially when furniture is placed in front of the window.
The shutters are manufactured with the purpose of leaving the panels closed to the window (as you can see by the position of the shutters) but adjusting the shutter slats to gain light and/or privacy. Again this saves space and allows furniture to be positioned in front of the window.
These wooden plantation shutters are white with 89mm slats and regular push rods. They are installed inside the window recess with a four sided frame. They are the perfect DIY shutters and by self installing you can save a considerable amount of money!
