Tuscan Oak 50mm Bay Window Blinds with strings
Bay windows like the sash ones in this Manchester townhouse need something to dress them. Lots of these town houses are situated right on busy streets, this was the issue our DIY customer in Manchester faced. They wanted to create some privacy. Of an evening if the lights are on in a house at street level, you cant help but take a peek, having people peering into your home isn’t that pleasant, so having some blinds made for your bay windows is a brilliant idea.
They chose their lounge blinds to have a 50mm slats from our Contemporary range. They wanted something modern and the contemporary range had exactly what they were looking for. The soft grain finish is a stain on the FSC Certified blinds and the soft grain means that you get a flawless grain finish. We have also made measuring a bay window for blinds easier with our straight forward measuring guide.
The contemporary range of blinds has its tilt and raise controls split so that one is on one side of the blinds, and the other control on the other side of the blind. This control separation was a really important factor for this customer as they have teenagers who can tend to be a little heavy handed. They didn’t want their children to tug unnecessarily hard at a tilt mechanism when trying to raise the blinds. The customer had had roman blinds previously in their lounge windows and their children had damaged them by separating the controls of the blinds, as is standard on the Contemporary range, the customers were able to ensure that their heavy handed teenagers were able to know which mechanism was the tilt and which was their raise.
The Blinds are a perfect bay window covering, our Manchester customers were so happy with the result as the Tuscan Oak complemented their décor and solved the problem that this living room is right on a busy street. They were amazed at the range of colours and options for the blinds and found that the Tuscan Oak colour was ideal for their Manchester living room blinds.
