Bathroom Shutters in Berkshire
Paul from Berkshire near Reading contacted us at The California Company for shutters for his home.
He did say that he had compared our products to those from other companies, who offered a similar shutter, but with a very high price. We strive to offer a high quality shutter with an affordable price tag, and Paul was very impressed as you can see below.
Originally I considered wooden blinds, and so I did a lot of Google based research I discovered shutters as a window treatment, so i continued my search, this time for companies supplying and/or fitting shutters in the Reading areas followed by a sensible filtering out of those companies (and there were many) who were simply out to rip people off with reasonable quality shutters, but at extraordinary prices.
Even with the additional couple of mm removed on top of my measuring it was a tight fit because I have uneven/bumpy tiles. Retrospectively my measuring would have been more accurate if I'd taken 3 horizontal measurements and 3 vertical. Next time I would use a rigid measuring tool rather than a tape measure to measure for my supply only shutters.
We had recently refurbished the bathroom, so shutters manufactured to match the bathroom decor were ideal, we chose White shutters with a medium sized slat.
The California Company have managed to provide great quality bathroom shutters, exceptional service at what I consider to be a very reasonable price and I shall certainly be considering protecting the interior of other rooms in my household in the future using your shutters.
The California Company Comment on your Project:
Hi Paul
Its great to hear that our high quality shutter products met your expectations, and came with a low price tag. You're right, measuring is key. Our measuring guides explain that customers should measure in a few places across the window recess to acheive the smallest width dimension, and the same for the height, by using the smallest dimensions, that, with the deduction we will discuss with you will mean that the shutters have more room for movement, and can then be sealed in firmly with decorators caulk.
Your shutters look great!
