Cumbria Shutters Customer Keeps Plantation Shutters in The Family
The Bancrofts from Cumbria are now old hands at the plantation shutters business. Having first purchased plantation shutters from us in 2006, Mr Bancroft has gone on to successfully order several other sets of window shutters, in all shapes and sizes, for not only his own home but his sisters too! Mr Bancroft continues.....
"I first purchased Plantation Shutters for my Cumbrian house from the California Shutter & Blind Company 2 years ago after seeing plantation shutters in House Beautiful magazine, then trawling the Internet for suppliers, which is where I found the CSBC. I browsed their web site (which has now greatly improved) and was impressed by their products and the fact you could self install (most other companies wanted to fit the shutters which inflated the price).
I telephoned them to find out more. The knowledge of the product and how it was fitted impressed me so much that it gave me confidence to buy shutters that I had only seen pictures of. I was sent three colour samples to aid my decision (well my wife’s).
Prior to deciding on Cumbria shutters, we priced for curtains to be made locally and there was only a few pounds difference. Being confident at DIY, I was happy to measure and fit which turned out to be very simple. I have since fitted interior shutters for two members of my family, the last of which I fitted this month (December 2008) in near by Manchester. Everyone who has seen my window shutters and my sisters Manchester plantation shutters have been impressed and amazed at the quality and value for money."
The California Company Comment on your Project:
Mr Bancroft, thanks very much for taking the time to write to write to us. We have had several shutters customers over the years who have gone on to order many other windows after their first successful installation. I'm also delighted to read that you feel the online shutter shop and website is much better. We constantly try to make the whole shutters ordering experience much easier and it sounds like you found it a success!
