Happy Shutters Customer in Ely Cambridge

Keeping your partner happy is something that you can't put a price on. As strange as it sounds, finding shutter happiness was exactly what happened to Ed from Ely, near Cambridge. His wife wanted plantation shutters for their lounge bay window and as Ed was to discover, the experience was hassle free and really quite pleasurable.....

Ed wrote to tell us

"May I first say, what a pleasure it was dealing with The California Shutters Company. Excellent customer service, attention to detail on the telephone and the calls were made to me from an English based company, giving me massive confidence in the shutters that I was buying.
 
I had sourced various companies that offered similar shutters, however the California Company gave best value for money, something that we are all after at the moment! With a very straight forward on-line service.
 
The shutters arrived in the exact week that was promised, well packaged with no damage (always a worry when you trust courier companies)

At this point I must highlight a frustration though, the screwdriver bit required to fit the enclosed screw heads was missing. Forcing me to modify a screwdriver of my own, maybe someone with less DIY ability may struggle here?
 
The shutter frame and shutters fitted very easily into the bay, and looked absolutely stunning!
 
The room previously was cold however since the shutters have been installed there is a marked improvement in the temperature! Privacy was the main driver behind buying the shutters, as the bay window fronts a footpath. Having the ability to tilt the slats at different angles on the top and bottom allows both privacy and light introduction.
 
Finally, my wife is a very happy lady, and you cant put a price on that, ha ha!
