Heathers Wardrobe Shutters in Hampshire

Shutters needn’t be thought about as just a window covering. Many of our customers take advantage of the fact that our shutters are manufactured entirely bespoke for each customer. At The California Company, none of our plantation shutters or solid shutters are manufactured in ranges or with certain sizes. We know that every single window can differ slightly from others which may look identical in your home, so we manufacture plantation shutters to the sizes you specify.

As there are no standard ranges or sizes, customers follow our measuring guides and they often use our plantation shutters as room dividers, doors, cupboard doors, or as in Heathers case, full length shutters as wardrobe doors.

Apologies for the delay in getting these to you, I have no idea where the last couple of weeks have gone!

The wardrobe door shutters were made in 1 large 4 sided frame with a T post running up the middle. The doors are in 2 sections, as you specified, each with 4 panels, 2 opening left, 2 opening right. The T post in the middle of the frame is great as it allows the doors to be hinged this way. 50mm was deducted from the overall height of the wardrobe doors to ensure they did not drag along the floor, along with a further deduction of 4mm on the total width of the wardrobe and 3mm from the height. This was to allow an easier installation.

The wardrobe door shutters were manufactured to look the same as an order I had placed previous for my bedroom.
