Self Install Shutters in Dublin Ireland Look Great

When a friend of friend recommended wood shutters from The California Company to John, he didn't know just how happy he'd be with the end result. As John tells us....

"Being based in Dublin, there are a few companies around who sell wood shutters. I knew that I wanted them for my home and thought I'd start off by having wood shutters for one window and seeing how successful my self installation would be before ordering more.
There are a few shutters companies in Dublin and other parts of Ireland but the quotes I received to have wood shutters measured and fitted by a company I felt were just too expensive. I could not justify the cost difference that these Dublin shutter companies were charging, versus the prices I found for wood shutters on The California Company website.
I am not a fan of curtains and didn't want blinds or any other window treatments for my home. I knew from the get go that it was shutters I wanted. Curtains make the room feel smaller, block out the light and I feel generally make the room feel cold. However, I have to admit, I didn't undertake the installation myself. I am not a bad DIY'er but I opted for a local carpenter to do the installation. Being a few mm out can make a job look bad so I left it to an expert. I am pleased I did as they look fantastic. The carpenter said how quick the wood shutters were to install. So all in all - very happy!

My advice to other people would be similar to other customer stories I've read on your website - read over the different shutters guides and pieces of info on the site as they are very helpful. Be sure to contact the staff at the California Company, who are great. Chrissie was very helpful and made the process painless.
