St Albans White Window Shutters customers opt for DIY saving
Having recently renovated their three bedroom detached chalet style bungalow in Bricket Wood, St Albans, Mr and Mrs Hughes wanted white bathroom shutters to match the sleek, modern design of their newly decorated bathroom.
Being a typical detached bungalow in Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire near St Albans - but with the bathroom window being a little on the small side in comparison to the size of the room, we were unsure whether white window shutters would look right in such a small recess. The California Company team were really helpful and asked us to e-mail some photos of our bathroom window, so that they could advise us on the best possible design for our DIY project. After looking at the photos of our bathroom window in Bricket Wood, they recommended the smallest slat size, which was 47mm, and we think it works really well, as it is in perfect proportion to the window and we think actually makes our bathroom look bigger! We love our new white bathroom shutters, and my wife was also delighted that the plantation shutters were tight against the window so we didn’t lose the window sill. This means she is able to display her scented candles, which she says add the finishing touch to the bathroom which she now loves showing off to our St Albans neighbours!
White window shutters are very popular here in St Albans and many of our friends and neighbours have had their wooden shutters installed by shutter companies. I have always undertaken DIY work projects myself and I am delighted I measured and installed my own DIY window shutters. The plantation shutters took no time to fix and look fabulous, not to mention the considerable saving we made taking the DIY route
The California Company Comment on your Project:
