Wooden Blinds finish off Tom's Bathroom

Tom from Birmingham had a small bathroom that had a fairly unattractive window that he wanted to improve the look of. He didn't want to spend a fortune but didn't want the window covering to look cheap and nasty. Tom originally contacted The California Company looking to purchase plantation shutters but following the advice from Kate he decided that a wood blind from the Malibu range would work just as well.

Tom said.....

"I had seen wooden shutters in a magazine and thought that these would work well in my loo. I've always hated the window and thought shutters would do the job of covering up the window. I found your company when looking through the internet and searching for shutters and called up to ask for advice. Kate was great and suggested that I email a photo to her, of the window, and she would be happy to give me advice about how to measure for shutters.

Kate was great and pointed out that while white shutters would look great in the loo, a wooden blind would work just as well. I didn't want to cut the dado rail and a blind therefore seemed a much easier and quicker solution to install. I was recommended that the white wood blind from the malibu range would work and ordered this.

What really appealed was that the wood blind arrived quickly and only took about 15 minutes to install. A few screws and I was done! I'd priced wood blinds at Ikea and Homebase and they were actually MORE expensive than the blinds I bought from The California Company AND I would still have had to cut them down myself. You did it all and the blinds were the perfect fit.
