While there are many new 'fake wood' alternatives used in shutter construction, wood remains the most stable, durable and versatile material for shutter manufacture. We use a premium grade wood that is kiln dried to ensure maximum stability and avoid any movement or cracking when the shutters are installed in your home.

"What Are Your Blinds Made From?"

Our high quality wood blinds are made from a variety of sustainable hardwood's such as Basswood which are completely kiln dried hardwood's to ensure durability and longevity. Our Aluminium Venetians are not like many of the cheap DIY store blinds which have paper thin aluminium slats – all our blinds have high quality durable slats and high grade operating mechanisms.

"How are your blinds supplied?"

You can choose to order your blinds to 'exact' sizes, or 'recess' sizes. If you choose

• EXACT sizes we manufacture to the sizes provided with NO deductions.
• RECESS sizes we take a small deduction (approx ½" (12.5mm)) from your dimensions to ensure the blinds will raise and lower without hitting your wall.
• Most of our wood and aluminium blinds come with a choice of raising an tilting operating systems. Please check each range for the options available.
• Wood Blinds come complete with a pelmet to cover the metal mechanism. In addition, we are unique in offering free pelmet returns with our wood blind valances (these cover the ends of the metal mechanism if you order an outside mount).
