• Every window in your shutter order is supplied with its own individual
frame within which the shutters are mounted. Every frame is custom built to
your requested size and will fit either inside the window recess or onto the
window frame. Once the shutter frame is fixed in position simply hinge your
shutter panels inside the shutter frame.
• The frame will be fitted inside the window recess if
you have a reveal or recess area.
• For windows without a reveal, simply mount the frame
on the actual window surround. This is typical of Victorian windows.

method of frame mounting is correct for your window.
• Every order is custom made to your exact requirement.
• We
use only premium grade hardwoods. Poplar wood gives a smooth even
finish which is ideal for painted or stained shutters. Elm wood
is used when you want to see a deep grain within the wood – elm is very similar in appearance to Oak. Both woods are equally as
good quality.
• Both of our solid woods are kiln dried after painting
or staining. They are then sealed to protect against warping, sun
damage or cracking. Our shutters carry a 2 yr guarantee.
• We carry a choice of 47mm, 64mm, and 89 mm slat size.
• You choose between pushrod design or open sky panels.
Open sky has the tilt control mechanism on the reverse of the panel.
• Shutters come in a choice of 6 beautiful neutral paint
colours or 10 stunning stain finishes.
• Design? You decide between cafe style, tier on tier or
full height shutters.
• Solid shutters are also available.
• Lead time is approx 7-8 weeks.
